Home for the Holidays
Featuring:

My Fair Lady In Concert

It's been called "the perfect musical." Lerner and Loewe's hit musical is a show filled with all of those hummable melodies that were on everyone's lips when it first premiered in the 1950's. Key West's own Mike Mulligan is the inimitable Henry Higgins. David Black is Doolittle. Laura Shofner, veteran of Sol Fest and Donna Roll's Graduate Vocal Program, plays Eliza the cockney flower-girl transformed into a duchess. Jack Agnew, Bruce Moore, Elizabeth Halbe, Earl Halbe, Marjorie Shook, Linda Greenberg, Dean Walters and Linda Frechette round out the cast. Direction by Donna Roll. Musical Direction by Vincent Zito. Choreography by Penny Leto and lights by Rich Simone.

Duelling Divas
Featuring:

Duelling Divas

OPERA WITH A TWIST!
You'll never think of Opera the same way again. You'll be shaken. You'll be stirred. You'll laugh until you cry. Duelling Divas is the smartest, campiest twist on opera that has come our way in -- well, forever. You'll fall in love with Vladka. You'll fall in love with Gwendoline. You'll fall in love with Paige. Opera virgin or junkie, you will LOVE this show!...and you'll leave the theater with a smile.
Come get a sip of the Divas...actually, make that a double.
Two professional opera singers decided that the world needed a good fat laugh. Along with their under-dog pianist, Paige Turner, they created a show which Howard Cohen of the Miami Herald called "a comedic entree into the world of grand opera" in his article entitled "Who knew opera could be so much fun?" With sincere apologies to the opera purists, Duelling Divas is more, shall we say, a Diva Smackdown.

Duelling Divas is not included in the 2008 - 2009 Pops subscription series. Duelling Divas - a recipe for a grand time!

Laurie Breakwell

A little Night Music In Concert

One of Broadway's most neglected masterpieces, the romantic and achingly beautiful A Little Night Music deals with the universal subject of love in all its wondrous, humorous and ironic permutations. Sophisticated, literate and stylish, A Little Night Music is also disarmingly warm, funny, charming and very human. Its well-constructed book is one of the best ever written, featuring a strong ensemble cast of vivid, memorable characters. The lilting Ravel-inspired score in three-quarter time contains Sondheim's most popular song, the haunting Send in the Clowns. Directed by Art Neill with Musical Direction by Vincent Zito and Lights by Rich Simone. Starring Jackie Neill, Kristen Michelle Bussiere, Susan Speidel, Laurie Breakwell, Art Neill, Gerard Lebeda, Jim Trainor and Holly Logue with Valeska Cambron, Grace Brooks, Jennifer Boudette, Matthew Campbell and Robert Vanaria.
